We understand that clothing is personal, and we want you to be delighted with our work. This policy outlines how we handle situations when our services don't meet your expectations.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with our sewing, alteration, or repair services, please notify us within 7 days of picking up your garment.

Our satisfaction guarantee covers:

  • Workmanship issues directly related to our services
  • Alterations that don't match the agreed specifications
  • Repairs that have not been completed as discussed
  • Custom garments that differ from the approved design

How to Request Adjustments

If you're not satisfied with our work, here's what to do:

  2. Bring in the garment: Visit our shop at 5000 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 with the garment and your receipt
  3. Consultation: Our team will examine the work and discuss the issue with you
  4. Resolution: We will provide a solution, which may include adjustments, re-work, or other remedies

Free Adjustments

We offer free adjustments for issues that are due to our workmanship. This includes:

  • Hems that are uneven or not at the agreed length
  • Seams that have not been sewn correctly
  • Fit issues on custom garments that don't match measurements taken
  • Any work that doesn't meet our quality standards

Free adjustments must be requested within 7 days of the original pickup date.

What Is Not Covered

Our satisfaction guarantee does not cover:

  • Changes of mind: If you decide you want a different style, length, or fit than originally agreed
  • Body changes: Weight fluctuations or body changes after fitting
  • Fabric issues: Pre-existing damage, fabric degradation, or color changes not caused by our work
  • Customer-supplied materials: Issues with fabric or materials you provided
  • Wear and tear: Damage occurring after pickup due to normal use
  • Late claims: Requests made more than 7 days after pickup

Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of our services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We believe in finding solutions that work for both parties.

Full refunds may be considered when:

  • We are unable to complete the agreed work
  • The garment has been damaged due to our error
  • The work cannot be corrected to meet specifications

Partial refunds may be considered when:

  • Only a portion of the work meets expectations
  • Additional adjustments have been made at no charge

Refund decisions are made by our management team after reviewing the situation.

Custom Orders

Custom garment orders require special consideration:

  • Deposits: Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable once work has begun
  • Approval process: We conduct fittings throughout the process to ensure satisfaction
  • Design changes: Changes requested after approval may incur additional charges
  • Materials: Specialty fabrics ordered for your project cannot be returned

We encourage open communication throughout the custom creation process to ensure the final garment meets your vision.

Damaged or Lost Items

While we take every precaution to care for your garments, if an item is damaged or lost while in our care:

  • We will notify you immediately upon discovery
  • We will work with you to find a fair resolution
  • Compensation is limited to the reasonable value of the item
  • Documentation of the item's value may be required

We recommend that you retain your own records of valuable garments before leaving them in our care.

Unclaimed Items

Please pick up your completed garments within the agreed timeframe. Items not claimed within 90 days of the completion notification will be considered abandoned.

We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before disposing of unclaimed items. No refunds or compensation will be provided for abandoned garments.
